How long do you think it would take a performance shop or skilled enthusiast with the right tools to install new cams, phaser limiters, springs and retainers?

When I looked into it, Brenspeed wanted about 8 hours, including dropping the engine.

fords labor guide says 8 hours...i would charge the same...

$5 per hour? Is this being worked on at Burger King?

Why would someone 'drop' the motor to change springs and cams?

I was going to have them install the headers at the same time. Maybe that's why. But I'm pretty sure it was because of the cams. Said it's a lot easier to work with the engine out. I think they were saying that to scare me so I'd do the NSR cams. By the way, they quoted 4 hours installation for NSR cams @ $280.
