Well that's just what I was told when I bought mine. Up sold? Maybe....

I ordered the spline lugs today in black. They'll look better than the stockers so no big deal.

No way I would run stock lugs with the drifts. The lug is so close inside the hole, it would have strached the paint and I would have been pissed. It's well worth the $30 IMO.
