These are RAW times, not PAX times.

Anyway, I thought my company in the Top 10 made me look pretty good. All the S2000 drivers are quite good.

Very impressive, you went up against cars that prolly thought youd be no competition when they showed up at to the lot that morning and later that night you had them ordering parts for the next event, hahah. Feels good to shatter import driving ego's.

Nice job man. I'm surprised you did so well against the other cars.

It's not really like that, we are all friends, it's a small group. I've received driving lessons from a lot of the top guys, they appreciate cars from different manufacturers.

Nice. Gotta feel good to be the only American car in the top ten.

I drive at PCA events and three instructors have asked for rides in the car because it is so much different than what they are used to. I ended up letting them drive for a lap. I'm not threatening for FTD but my car seems to be popular, its nice that the Porsche guys aren't stuck up at all.

My first event was at a PCA.. I was a bit intimidated at first with the line up of cars I saw and didn't expect them to be so nice to a mustang guy. I shared a similar experience with you. all of them were verrry interested in the car and wanted a lap in it. except one guy that drove a f430; he was a little stuck up. All in all a great bunch of guys!

The only bad thing about that day was when I came home and told the pops I went out and raced the car.. I'v brought him around though (all it took was a day at the track haha).

I guess its a NYC thing but i find that the BMW/Porsche/Honda guys are generaly dicks with a "Your not even close to in my legue" attitude and they hate to see a piece of shit Mustang post better times. Subaru/Miata/American Iron & non standard car guys tend to be a lot nicer and willing to help for some reason.

Ofcoarse this IS a genrealization cause theres been import guys who helped out along the way or after they got to know you from a few events, theres always those few wankers who leave an impression. We get about 70 - 80 cars running per event, so....

That vid was halarious! Few months ago at a local event we had a chump show up in a new model corvette zr1, did not make drivers meeting showed up late, and insisted he had track hours under his belt. Refused to give any specs on his car by replying to all non porsche owners with "don't worry about it". Chump gets black flagged for not allowing a vtec civic to pass. His ego got in the way of his mirrors which limited his use of his mirrors. He did this for almost 3 laps before he was black flagged. And then he still wanted an explanation. There just isn't any room for dicks like that in motorsports! Thanks for posting that u-tube video!

damn, there is a 93 Escort in mid-pack. Must be a good driver.
Years ago, I thought I would cream some guy in a 70's Ford Cortina
( came from England). Did not happen, he had the fastest time of the day!
