Decent Weather Runs

For the first time in months, we had some decent weather here in central Indiana. I started the night with a new Personal Best, and improved the rest of the night. All motor, M/T Drag Radial, Automatic, 4.10 Gears, Steeda CAI, w/tune by Dave @ Davad Motorsports
New for the night was The CAI and the Davad Motorsports Tune ... They messed up my number on the pass that Dave and I had together Car 117, oh and 111 LOL
Best run of the night: 1.901 60' 13.065 @ 107.34 w/DA Corrected times: 12.846 @ 109.209 for 9:05 PM Run
Also Dave's car is an 06 GT that runs strong, w/just bolt on's

^ lol

I figure that probably will stir things up. I don't expect it to go in the E/T rankings or anything, just posting up what the Focus ran since the Mustang is down.

Well guys, my first runs ever tonight:
First was a 13.558 @ 105.68 with a 2.209 sixty
Second was a 13.372 @ 105.79 with a 2.093 sixty
I didn't want to wait around for eliminations to take a 3rd pass. I wasn't exactly sure what I'd do, but I'd say a 13.372 is decent for my mods and my first trip.

Mods: CAI, Tillman All Out Tune, O/R x, stingers, 3.55 gears, 5spd
I'm 7860!

Great numbers. First time out on big heavy wheels too? Not too shabby.

That is awesome dude!!!!! That has got to be a blast to drive on the street. Nothing like beating those civics with a Ford in there own class. I am told by some of the local ricer crowds that racing my car is unfair. Which is probably true. But having a Focus with a turbo ripping on them has got to be fun. I like it!!!! Very respectible of times for that car also.

Before I had the mustang I had a 01 F150 single cab with spray and all bolt ons with a manual trans, and a Acura TL with blower, spray and N20. I remember one night I wooped on all the ricers with the truck (has been in the 11s) and they would complain how it was unfair cause of it being a 8cyl. I then went home and grabbed the TL and came back and put a beating on them with that. It was a 05TL with a comptech supercharger 4 -5 psi, snow meth kit, and 50shot wet.

Hey congrats, that is awesome breaking in the number that you shot for. Very rarely did I leave the track happy till recently. It will only get faster now. Especially doing it in the summer heat, imagine how you will perform in the colder months.

Nice!! What was the weather like? I was just at LVD a month ago and it was too hot to get in the 11's..But your times/mph is what I am hoping to get when its not 85 damn degrees out. Grats on the 11's:beer::beer:..I am going to check NE dragways schedule, I want to try that track..

Thanks Marc, they are pretty heavy. I think With a few more passes I could get a better launch and come close to breaking the 2.0 barier. If I can do that, I'd be happy with a 13.1. I'm really not sure where my car should be with my mods. I probably won't get a chance to run it again before the turbo so who knows.

Thanks bro... it was an ideal night 80 & low humidity - car ran great! I can still definitely shave some more off my 60'... practice, practice, practice!

Time to update - hit a new personal best today with the convertible, not too bad for a V6. I upgraded the supercharger with the Xcharger Xtreme intercooled kit. I am car #246, the tree at Lapeer is set up so that 0.500 is a perfect light.

1) copy of timeslip-
NewPB7-3-20100001RESIZE.jpg

2) The following vehicle information:
- Cubic inch displacement (CID) of engine -- 245 (4.0L V6)
- Type of transmission (by model number) -- Automatic 5r55S
- Size and Manufacturer of power adder -- Xcharger Xtreme (Eaton MP90)
- Pounds of Boost -- 10 lbs
- Rear Gear ratio -- 3.55
- Make and type of tire -- Mickey Thompson ET Street DR, 255-50x16

3) your time also has to be backed up by another time within 2%.
