Why no tune from TMS?

TMS doesn't have anyone tuning currently. My supercharged '07 GT was tuned on their dyno a few years back when John Garner ran it out of his shop. I had my '11 on TMS's dyno earlier this year (409 rwhp / 382 rwtq), but that was with the canned SCT "strategy" tune and it was only on the dyno to get numbers - not tune.

Now that Matt (MindIfISmoke) is working for them, I'm hopeful that he will be ready by next racing season to tune my '11. In the interim, I'll order an email tune from a reknowned tuner to see how that works.

I spin it to 7,200 rpm's. How high do you think I should be spinning a factory short block, out of curiousity? With stock intake and exhaust components, a Coyote doesn't really make more power past 7,200 rpm's anyway. Granted, if I had the Boss 302 intake, bigger MAF, bigger TB, and supporting exhaust you can get more power up top past 7,200 rpm's, but my engine is 100% stock.

I wasn't suggesting how high you should spin the engine I was simply saying your gear choice is not the best if you are only planning to spin it to 7200. I understand how you feel about the gears and how it makes the car feel better, but it obiviously isn't the best gear choice for your stock engine if you want to improve ET and mph.

Stock suspension except for Maximum Motorsports dual adjustable LCA's that cured the bad wheel hop that came from the factory. And, 275/50/17 M&H Drag Radials at 25 psi that hook awesome with just a quick burnout to clean them off.

MIght want to also strongly consider replacing the upper. That Bushing takes a beating. Any additional flex will cause the Differential to possibly bind up hurting performance.

My 4th gear with 3.73s seems to hit the redline around 108-109 and I'm already having to shift into 5th well before the 1/4. How are you guys with 3.73s and 6MT's getting through the line not having to shift to 5th. I'm bone stock and I'm shifting at 7k

Had the rev limit set to 7600 rpm in the tune. I was able to pull 119 mph with 3.73's in the 1/4.

I run a 28" tall drag radial, so with the 3.73's in the car, I was able to trap 116-117 mph just fine. I had my rev limiter set to 7700 rpm's just in case, but didn't need to spin it that high to clear the traps in 4th gear. I'm assuming you're running a shorter tire? That would limit your top speed in 4th gear.

Stock 19" tires. How big of a DR can fit on these stangs with the car lowered 1"? Also, I'm bone stock as-is from factory and the car already seems to fall on its face over 6700 in 4th

I was able to trap 113 stock, and 116 with a 295/45r17 drag radial. 3.73's and Stock limiter.
