I have had alot of questions on the Wolfe product.

Here is my bolt in moly 6 point. Great fit very well done, The rear decklid does need to be cut to slide the rear bars into the trunk. I got it bare metal and primed, painted and clear coated it MG to match the exterior. The Moly bolt in weighs 66 lbs with hardware, the Steel bolt in from Wofle weighs 88lbs with hardware (I have a steel one here in stock so I weighed it aswell)

Here are some of my pics

Can the Bolt in Cage be welded in, in the future should it become necessary? Or should one just order the Weld in cage should they think they are going to need it?

ok i'm still unsure at what points a cage is needed and at what point it must be a weld in cage.
can you verify the trap and speeds for needing a cage and then when it must be weld-in as well

It can be welded in the future. To make it 9.90 NHRA (don't quote me 100% but I read it a few months back) The rear bars that attach to the hoop need to be welded. I Believe right now it's good for 10.00, I was long over do on this 6 point since I was running low 11's last year they gave me a bit of a break at my local track. ( I just didn't want to add the weight last year lmao)

Ive been racing for years but at this point I can't give you solid info. Our local track was IHRA and is now NHRA so I have to find a updates rule book before I post further info. If you plan on going faster then 9.90 then 10 point will be required for sure. I plan go 10 point when my car makes serious power :roflmao:

To be legal for either 13.49 in a 'Vert or 11.49 in a hardtop, the rear bars have to be welded to the main hoop. So does the "harness" bar.

Only the door bars may be bolted in or made to be swing outs.

General Regulations, Section 20, 4:10 Roll Bars

Nice looking bar.

^^^^ thanks for the info. So how far will doing that get you? I mean at what point do you have to have a full all out cage or whatever the next level / time is from there

A 5 or 6 point bar (Drivers side door bar or Driver and Passenger door bars) will be good down to 10.00 and 134.999MPH.

Quicker than 9.99 and/or 135MPH and faster, you need to upgrade to a cage.

Then when you get to 8.49, things change again and get more technical.

+1 on pics where it bolts in. Also, are those swingouts? Would be nice to remove for the street so it's easier to get in/out. Excellent choice

I'm curious on this as well. I see the bolt, so I'm guessing you can remove them?
