That sounds about right. I dumped about cup of oil out of the intercooler and who know how much got sucked into the engine. I ordered the Rehagen rig and will post a picture of it once it's installed.i was talking to steve poe, he said he is filling up a catch can about 4 times the size of a jlt each session of road racing
Just run 2 breathers and call it good...
That's exactly what I do. Frankly, for street driving having the PCV vent to the intake is fine. It's only on the track that significant oil is collected. Also, with a Vortech or Procharger, the air to air intercooler acts like a catch can if there's a lot of oil vapor which is the main reason I wanted a separate can.For emissions just hook a hose up for inspection. Then put breathers back
They are vented. They either vent to the intake (emissions compliant setup) or they vent to the atmosphere.Thats badass thanks, But I don't see how the catch can doesn't have to be venalated for the air pressure to escape.
Lol I think he's got both lines running to his JLT catch can...which is unvented. They are vented. They either vent to the intake (emissions compliant setup) or they vent to the atmosphere.
Maybe, but I see what looks like a T hose fitting in top right of SS KILR's pic. Hopefully that vents. Besides, it was SS KILR that made the point about needing to vent.Lol I think he's got both lines running to his JLT catch can...which is unvented.
Nice. Where did you order it? How much? How large is it?Your right I did have them both going to an unvented jlt. That's why I asked. I didn't think it would work. However I did just order this.
