I'm aware of its function, its actually a cover that still retains the airbag. Its made just like OE. Its an option, you can use the factory one if you prefer. The problem a lot of people have is you can't safely change that emblem without it being a hazard because of how the airbag deploys. I'm just the middle man though, just thought it was a nice product and would share!

any luck with the radio controls? I know in your previous post the answer was a "no" but wasn't sure if you've been able to tinker with it or not.

not plug and play. someone posted the wire diagram someplace, I just don't remember where.
