Strange C-Clip Elimator brake choice?

Anyone running Strange C-Clip Eliminators with aftermarket brakes? I wanted to run Baer deep stage brakes and am told they won’t work. This is a street strip car so the strange drag brakes aren’t going to work. Hoping someone has tried something besides stock brakes. TIA.

Why do you feel they won't work on the street? I would think a company as big as Strange would document if that was not suggested.

Drag brakes don't have enough mass for repeated braking on the street. They are made pretty much to be used once and then cooled down. You can use them on the street but don't expect to see any kind of performance as they will get too hot very quickly.

Bambam is Correct. This is not a daily driver, rather a weekend cruiser and occasional strip car. But as such still needs something more. I would like to something lighter than the heavy factory units. As described in earlier posts this car is on a diet. Tube front. Drag lites…etc.
